Albert E.

Regarding the real Albert E.

From blind open eyes
I only now see
in his mind's eye
the disquiet of clarity

By somehow explaining
the paradox in me
A touching inspiration

The humble Albert E.

"Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds."
-Albert Einstein

"Don't let the turkeys get you down."
-J. Dollar

He's no Bill Nye, but hey...
If you're having trouble understanding life or anything like that, you might find comfort in the following. More than just an egghead, he did wonders for me...
Recomended reading: "The Private Albert Einstein" by Peter Bucky, Universal Press, 1993
Also "The Private Lives of Albert Einstein" by Roger Highfield and Paul Carter, St. Martin's Press, 1994
Both are excellent insights into one of the greatest men of our century; one posessing as many shortcomings as divine gifts.
I would not recomend reading one without ever reading the other.
Doing so would serve a grave injustice to yourself, those influenced by you, and to the memory of Mr. Einstein and all those endeared to him. (You really should get the full picture.)
